Artist’s Statement

After a rewarding career in art education, I’ve moved my focus back to my own personal artwork.  As a resident of West Windsor NJ, I’ve continued my studies at Art Students League, Princeton Arts Council, and Mercer County Community College.  My focus is “en plein air” and still life paintings in oils.  While painting, I become one with nature and my surroundings feeling a wonderful sense of inner peace and tranquility. With dancing brushstrokes across my canvas, I am able to express a present moment in time. When viewing my paintings, I hope that gentle, poetic experience of nature and art transcends.
